Henrik at IntelliSummit 2020

Where does your passion for market & competitive intelligence come from?

I have always been curious about the world around me and what the future might hold. Moreover, becoming a successful MI practitioner often requires exhibiting both an analytical, structured side and a more creative, intuitive side – a combination which I find very stimulating.

What are the key take-aways from your presentation?

I will give a case presentation about how PTS, as a government authority operating within a rapidly changing business environment, has used scenario planning to invigorate the strategic direction of the organisation.

I’ll give a brief background to why scenario planning is a critical skill for all organisations of today. In my presentation I will also exemplify how strategic scenario projects can be set up, and share some critical success factors that will enable you to achieve the desired impact in your own organisation.

How can the participants benefit in real life from your insights?

Scenario planning is, in my view, one of the most important tools in the MI practitioner’s toolbox. My goal is to give insights into how this very useful tool can be utilised in real life in modern organisations, by combining theory with specifics about a recent case project.
