Pär Lager, Speaker at IntelliSummit™

Since the beginning of the 2000s, Pär Lager has been one of Sweden’s most appreciated lecturers. He has both solid and unique leadership experience from listed international companies, medium-sized companies, startups and the public sector.

Pär Lager is a member of several boards for both companies and organizations and is former President and CEO of one of Sweden’s and Norway’s leading education groups.

Through his various leadership roles, Pär Lager has gained broad experience in leadership, world-wide analysis, innovation and communication. He is himself a very enthusiastic leader who sees the value of using world-wide analysis and communication as key tools for creating strong, sustainable and innovative organizations that reach ambitious goals and unleash the full potential of employees and the entire organization.

Pär Lager was previously President of the Advertising and Communication School Bergh’s School of Communication. During that period, Berghs went from being a reputable Swedish school to becoming internationally recognized. Berghs was named the world’s best communication school by Cannes Lions, the world’s premier meeting place and competition in creativity and communication. For the third time in a row and the seventh time in total, Berghs was named “School of the Year” in the Future Lions competition in Cannes in 2016.

Pär also has a background that includes Head of Business Development in the listed company Sifo Group, Political Expert at the Ministry of Education, and Head of Strategy and Worldwide Analysis at Svenska Spel. Pär has been sitting on the board for several Tech startups as well as in Plan International Sweden, Kulturfonden Sweden Finland and University Westerdals Oslo ACT. Before working, Pär had a career in the national bike team.

Pär is currently working on a new book together with Bobo af Ekenstam which they will talk about at IntelliSummit 2019. The book will be published during summer 2019.
